    7" touchscreen - always misaligned down and to the left!?!

    I'm running a no brand 7" motorized touch screen that uses the touchkit drivers and software. (I'm using version 5.0 something of the touchkit)

    I calibrate the monitor - and recalibrate and do the linearization thing - but still my screen recognizes me pointing on the screen a contstant distance down and the the left. About a full finger distance away from where i touch the actual curser clicks! It's so infuriating?

    Any help? Please tell me I'm doing something stupid?

    make sure the case/bezel isn't putting pressure in the lower left corner of the touchscreen. I had a similar issue when I installed my screen into the dash, and traced it back to that. May be as simple as adjusting the touchscreen assembly inside the case just a tad.

    Same thing happened to me. Disassembling the case and buying a new touchscreen didn't do anything. Next was the touchscreen controller.

    Just got it in and installed an hour ago, now everything's good as new!
