Oh, one of these days I will when I "upgrade" to a smaller box with embedded graphics. My problem is that everything works okay now and the enemy of good is better.

Has anyone gotten this to work with a 629GL (2008 LED backlight version)?

I have a 965GM and am running linux, but I would like to know if it is at least possible for the 629 to actually display this resolution (in any system). I always assumed it was impossible, based on the other threads here.

If the native resolution is 1024x600, why would you want to run it at 800x480??

    Q1 ultra

Thank 's for your interest .
I use q1 to run special gui software designer for vantagecontrols inc .
this software support designed gui only on 800x480 or 1024x768.
    Vantage controls touchscreen 7" ( 800x480) have a big prize 2500€ , touch 10 "
( 1024x768 ) have this price 3200 € , if is possible to set q1 ultra on 800x480 ,prize of my prject is too low , and q1ultgra ,have many plus functions , and too high performance .

Excuse me for my spghetti English I'm italian

    Thank's Best Regards

Wow, I don't think I've spent that much on my home automation setup, and it probably does way more than Vantage does, www.avbrand.com/home

just a quick note that I used the same technique to modify intel's driver for GM45 and got it to work on windows 7/32bit with lilliput 629

Av, thank you very much for this driver - it seems to be finally working for me with my D945GCLF2 and EBY701.
But could you please clarify, what frequency is it supposed to be running at?

60Hz didn't work for me - the Lilli detected it as 800x600, and showed the image with black borders. The funny thing was that when I switched to 800x600 it detected it as 800x480, and it was scrolling. This was crazy.
Finally I found 800x480@55Hz in the list, tried it, and it worked!
Now I'm not sure if it is OK to keep this mode - won't it hurt the monitor?
When I was playing with PowerStrip, at some frequencies the monitor kept switching off and back on every second - neither it nor I liked that, and now I'm afraid if it could happen again with this non-very-standard mode.
