I've got an idea for a double din LCD design and was hoping for others input on the design and possibility of it all, never know someone might even be aware of a product that already exists.

Basically a double din frame with a lilliput LCD on the front, that slides down like most commercial units do to reveal slot loading cd, sd/mmc/etc slots, perhaps you could even have a recessed head unit back there. Servos would probably make decent small powerful motors to slide the unit, with some sort of track assembly. To keep things simple perhaps the LCD could be hinged at the bottom and a motor is just used to raise/lower the screen. I've not seen the unit but was thinking that maybe the double din lilliput screen from the mp3car store could be modified in such a way to allow this.

Thoughts anyone?
