Yeah that would be really bad looking. Watching a letterbox dvd in stretch. It would be super widescreen. Maybe someone can take pictures or explain what they did.

    Thanks

New Xenarc will do wide screen format as well. I found that 848X480 wide VGA doesnt look as natural as the old version. That's why I got rid of mine and kept my older version. New version of Xenarc will do 1280X768 wide XGA but my FV24 doesnt support it, 2nd reason why I got rid of mine. Even if it does 1280X768, everything looks really small, 3rd reason I got rid of mine. I haven't found any video cards or entergraded video chips what will support 1024X600 wide SVGA or simular resolution.

This is what 1280X768 looks like on a new Xenarc.

So it's just the xenarc being silly and displaying the wrong res indication?

Can you drive the native resolution of the LCD (whatever that is) and have it fill the screen?

I don't want it doing any scaling for me.

I found a thread about issues with the Xenarc and VIA M900. That is what I was thinking in using for motherboard with your new VGA upgraded screen. Do you know if this would be an issue?

Ok this may be way off topic but what are the dimensions of the xenarc screen exactly. I have one of those old redant screens and I fiberglassed it into an enclosure and was wondering if without much modification I could replace it with the 702 or add a touchscreen controller.. but Id need the exact dimensions of the actual screen and touchscreen or somewhere where i could find this!

    Thanks
Yes $600 for shipping and install.

As far the color - Black will only be available on TM-7002S from the manufacturer and not the TM-701L I was confused too Both monitors use the same front so why not make them both black, I don't know. I will definitely take orders for the Black TM-701L and swap the fronts myself
