Anyone tried this with a Matrox card yet? got a G450 Dualhead that would work loverly with a couple of these.
Yeah, and that's a fairly common hack on the web with the older Sharp LCD's, but interesting to know that you can do it with a TNT card which are faily good cards and cheap as chips.

This has been done before...

I have not done this with my gamevue yet but I will do it tonight and give you all a report on image quality gains...
Hmm, the update on the bottom of that page might be the answer to M pro's washedout problem?

[H]4 Life
My next generation Front End is right on schedule.
It will be done sometime in the next generation.
I'm a lesbian too.
I am for hire!
Still waiting in anticipation for the step-by-step guide
I have one of these screens, and would love to get rgb input from vga.
Sorry about disappearing on you guys but I haven’t forgotten about you
Just been hella busy of late but I’ll have it all planed out for you guys soon
Also just to let you guys know the matrox cards do a good job also with this mod
As you can see in this pic I have managed to get the colors bright
Really all you guys are going to need for this mod is this LCD screen and a 270r resister
And an old VGA cable
Back soon
that looks really nice.
do you have that mounted in side of your case permantly. If so thats a great mod
Pretty nice no matter what!!!
Hey M pro, you thought about making a plug and play adaptor cable/box from VGA to the PSone/2 RGB 480i connector?
I've read somewhere that the pins are the same, but without the console part of the connector I wouldn't know where to find one (don't have any consoles that are broken to cut up).
Don't suppose anyone else has made any progress on this?

As far as getting the connector, the adaptor for Guncon for later PSXs has it, just cut off the end that goes into the PSX. (it has a pass-through port)Originally posted by Skraggy_uk

If you're looking for the pinout of PSX RGB, Games X has it.
Still waiting to hear how M Pro managed to get the card to output 15kHz...
Oh you beauty. I think you just cracked it, the guncon was a great idea, but it gave me a little lateral thought.Originally posted by tom61

The screen has a pass through connector where it is supposed to pass audio/video to the screen from the PS2, and another connector out back that connects to a PS2 AV to composite cable to run it through a TV.
Now if I remove the pass through, I should have a connector that will plug into the other connector, and have prewired soldered cables.
My god. So simple, why didn't I think of it.
