    anyone with this touchscreen (see inside) get it to work with the backup cam?

    Hi all
    I have this exact same unit

    Fully Motorized 7" indash touch screen VGA TV Remote - eBay


    It's supposed to switch to the RCA video input (my rear camera)
    when the green wire is spliced into the power wire for my reverse lights
    (otherwise green is ground, there's also a black wire for permanent ground as well)
    But when I go into reverse it just turns off

    I know a number of people on here have this same unit

    Anyone ever get this to work???

    I had that monitor to my car for 1 month but when i want to switch to rear view camera i had to do this manual.

    I dont see any mention of autoswitching AV sources in the ebay page...

    I didn't buy it form this seller, I bought it 4 years ago, and it's been working fine, But my cd head unit died recently so I have the dash apart to put in a new head unit, and figured I'd tackle the backup issue while everything was taken apart.
    After doing some searching on the forum,
    I've found this thread and the names it was sold under
