    Green line down Lilliput EBY701

I searched the forums, couldn't find any FAQs or threads regarding this issue:

I recently developed a very vibrant green line down on the left of my Lilliput EBY701. It's powered by the car adapter until I hardwire it, but its runs fine, just this green line down the side. Anyone else had this or know if I'm doing something wrong?

Is it 1 pixel wide or several? It might be fixed by reseating the flat ribbon cable or worse would be the matrix contacts arounds the edge which are held by the metal frame. Apply pressure to the top or bottom edge of the screen and see if it clears up. If it does, you might be able to wedge something very thin under the frame to increase the pressure at that point. Or if it's under warranty, send it back

i have the same screen, my has red and blue lines showing on the right side, now it gets worest, it sometimes has 7 lines showing up, but most of the time is blue and red line, i already try different power source, and makes no different, so i am sure is the screen going bad, the replacement is about $55, but i am thinking about just buying a new one from ebay, $150, everything is the same as the eby701, just different brand name

Ill try this first. I have the BYBYTE casing so the screen itself and all its parts have been removed and installed into that casing. Warranty sticker is no longer one piece. It is quite possible the ribbon cable or the surrounds could've been disrupted when I installed the screen into the car.
