Thread: Accelevision HRM7MA/LQ070T5BG01 Sharp Monitor help please???

I bought this monitor off craigslist for cheap, I want to get it hooked up,

I know that these two are 12+ and -
the monitor turns and and i can change the settings, but it says no input,
the two wires next to them are for video in put, so far all I have is a rca cable with one end
cut off and the center cable to one and the outside shield cut back and rolled up
and touching the other, when I do this it does get a signal but little color and large bands rolling on the screen? Is this because of my sloppy connection or because it is still not connected right? What is the connection on the left? I do know the first one on the left is ground...
