I get a similar effect with my Eden 800 as well but under slightly different circumstances.

If I power the system using UK mains then I have no problem with the TV-OUT. However if its powered though the 12VDC - 240V AC 300w invertor in the car then the interference appears on the screen when the HDD is being accessed. Even though the HDD is still spinning it stops when the drive is not being accessed.

The USB2 DVD drive does not cause any interference at all which is suprising since the LCD Screen and the USB2 DVD drive are both powered from the same source and are independant of the invertor

And I had the same problem with the audio, I get a 50hz crackle through the RF modulator using the invertor, I got round it by using a DC-DC PSU and ran the screen direct from the battery.

    Ow. Sorry for mmy english.
    What I mean is:

Witgh +12V Amp Filer I meant current filter.
It is a filter that you connect between +12V (example battery) and 12V whire on you screen. The curren filter is also connected to the car chassis.

    The funstion is:
The current filter is sabilizing a curret that goes to the LCD.
If you got a Alternator whitch is making a noice on you power the current filter will sabilize a current. (you will get a "clean" current to you car) the same as you connect a LCD to external battery...

I hope you understand what I mean..?

Sorry for my english. I am not so good in technical english..

I am not sure who is selling it in US but I can get it here in Norway.
If you can't find it in US just send me a PM. I will go to the audio store and ask for price so I can send it to you...

well I get 2 types of "fuzzyness" in a sense. The motherboards rca-video out seems to make the image very fuzzy as on those pictures.

Also when I use the screen in the car with the ignition on, I see little staticy lines. I think that has something to do with the connections. In the car the screen is tapped off the Headunit 12+ and ground.

Just a thought Samc..... do you have anything else near to the TV apart from the PC? It looks like interference from something sharing the same frequency, try unplugging any DVD players, videos etc.
Secondly, can't you try it with S-Video instead? If your TV doesn't have S-Video input, you can buy and adapter to plug it into the SCART socket.

The answer to this is to buy an invertor, plug a 12v PSU in and run it from that. I have the same problem on my Xenarc when I run it from the battery.
