i will need to get longer screws, as the capacitive touchscreen is a little thicker, but the thing looks goregeous! VERY MUCH worth the $68 i spent.
Can you post what part numbers and all that you had to order. I'm ready to upgrade an EBY-701 with bybyte bezel too.

You can use the panel from my kit and use the HID controller. I verified compatibility today.

I will make a listing for panel only over the weekend.

Are you going to list some more of these?

I attempted to replace the resistive touchscreen on a sunlight readable mp3car.com display. I ended up ruining the screen, and will be purchasing a new screen, but I am interested in those who have done this mod on which screen have you used and how did you mount it back in the car? I had a lot of trouble with the sensitivity of the screen, I am not sure I am using the correct drivers for windows 64 bit, but I did get them from the 3M website.

    Thanks
I think I spoke too soon. I think I got rid of the noise, but the calibration still leaves something to be desired. I can't seem to find any drivers with more than 3 points of calibration, unless I do the ~30 point linearization adjustment which doesn't seem to help. Everything seems skewed and offset, and calibrating it only helps a little.

Anyone got this thing fully working, in the car, with consistent and usable calibration?

For a touch friendly app like centrafuse it works fine, but for simple tasks in windows, it's unusable without better calibration.

    Any help is appreciated.

I just got one of them a few weeks ago and it looks great. Also, the fit was perfect. No other modifications were necessary to fit into a subaru wrx double din dash. Most of my time has been spent getting everything else hooked up, but the monitor fit perfect and looks great.

Wondering if there are win7 drivers for it.

Awesome TFT. Your other auctions are very good too. Maybe it's time to upgrade from 7" to 8"

Anyone else have the problem that the viewable area on the capacitive touchscreen is smaller and the white dashed lines are visible inside the lcd frame? Is that why there is black tape on the ebay one?
