yep definitely nice screen. Makes me think i might put my 10.4" (16 colour only due to SBC, but fine for just MP3) in my Van. Might be this summers project, thanks for the kick in the *** to show that a 10.4" isn't always too big.
GTI - Palm IIIe controlled with Radio faceplate hack for keyboard control of WinAmp w/ Vocal Genre playlist loading.
VW Bus - 10.4" vga lcd. Loaded with same software as above.
do you have any pics of the fiberglassing? like the molding or whatever. just to get a visual idea of how you went about this. (i am a visual learner)
Thanks!
I also have a Blazer, and I think that glare is probably going to be an issue. Hope it works out ok.
With a 350nits screen, it does not seem to be a problemOriginally posted by Meatballman

Yep, A station wagon.... was in there for a few months with the screen jammed betweeen the front seats for the people sitting in the back to see.."Hacked" the stereo to accept an input.... made a Sproggy DC-DC powersupply... and enjoyed playing SONIC while being driven around at night...
one person saw the screen and pointed... that was all..
