    I put the dash in today! My new carpet should be in soon, The console and shifter are just put in for reference! Not bolted in yet!

    yep definitely nice screen. Makes me think i might put my 10.4" (16 colour only due to SBC, but fine for just MP3) in my Van. Might be this summers project, thanks for the kick in the *** to show that a 10.4" isn't always too big.
    GTI - Palm IIIe controlled with Radio faceplate hack for keyboard control of WinAmp w/ Vocal Genre playlist loading.
    VW Bus - 10.4" vga lcd. Loaded with same software as above.

    do you have any pics of the fiberglassing? like the molding or whatever. just to get a visual idea of how you went about this. (i am a visual learner)

    I also have a Blazer, and I think that glare is probably going to be an issue. Hope it works out ok.

    With a 350nits screen, it does not seem to be a problem

    I need a car... I need to learn to drive too... I started this project when I was in year 9 at the age of 14... I am now in year 12 and 17... and I have nothing to show for it... lol

    Common now, you managed to get yourself kicked off the board... Thats something to be proud of? Actually, I think I remember seeing some station wagon you put a computer in didnt I?

    Yeah, I did do that hey???
    Yep, A station wagon.... was in there for a few months with the screen jammed betweeen the front seats for the people sitting in the back to see.. "Hacked" the stereo to accept an input.... made a Sproggy DC-DC powersupply... and enjoyed playing SONIC while being driven around at night... one person saw the screen and pointed... that was all.. lol
