BCasey keep us posted.
just got the shipping info and it should be here in 2 weeks.. I really hope its not a knock off cause ill send it right back.
is there anyway to tell if its a knock off. I'll be cracking it open so anything I should look for? While I'm on the topic is there anyway to tell if its LED backlit?
BCasey keep us posted.
if there is a noname copy of lilliput DVI version on the market, its easy to turn it into "HDMI" version... video standard of HDMI is fully compatible with DVI, but has additonal audio capability too. You can use a simple passive adapter to turn DVI to HDMI and HDMI to DVI - only the audio is missing. so, a noname copy might have HDMI connector wired to DVI input on the PCB, the only thing You will notice that there is no audio transmission through it, but the picture quality should be fine!

Someone is completely missing the point.
We have one of two situations here:
1 - The Ebay seller is either misrepresenting the product as a Lilliput with HDMI input when it has none by throwing out the buzzword "HDMI".
2 - The Ebay seller is making a custom cable for a Lilliput model with DVI that accepts HDMI input.
Either way, it is not a Lilliput with HMDI input. It's either a hack job or a lie.
Either way, it is a reason in my mind to avoid this Ebay seller.
No offense to BCasey and others who may have purchased from this seller.
OK, this is a bit crazy, Lilliputs web site says dvi/hdmi as an option on the 629GL-70NP/C/T-2. Take a look under key specifications...

That is not Liliput's website. It's a trading website.
Liliput websites:

http://www.lilliput.com.cn
I wonder if they are both actually Liliput's websites? There's different addresses and phone + fax numbers on the two sites.

well my monitor arrived today, it looks legit, nice lookin lilliput box all documentation etc.
Is there anyway to know for sure if its a fake or not, cause just by lookin at it first glace it seems legit.
I saw that and almost bought one, but the price seemed too good to be true and it was in China.....red flag for me.
