Help with LCD panel LVDS pinout

So I'm trying to make a custom carputer all-in-one touchscreen. I have a Torisan TFT-LCM MXS121022010 with a 3m overlay touchscreen. I figured out the pinout for the touchscreen and got it working nicely. Now I have a few mini-itx boards with LVDS ports on them, and the connector for this 12.1 inch LCD fits perfectly in the port, but the pins are completely different. I managed to find a datasheet on the pin config, which you can find here: http://www.pdfsea.com/down/down.php?downid=12265&id=0 And I also managed to find the pinout of the itx board, which can be found here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/atta...ds_mapping.pdf

I'm hoping someone can make sense of these pinout lists and help me out with getting this screen working with the itx board. once that gets done, I can do the rest. Thanks in advance!

The LCD is 6-bit per channel TTL, not LVDS. The two are incompatible without a converter (such as Advantech PCM-3540R).
Old Systems retired due to new car
New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.

Thanks for the response. I figured that was the case. I managed to take the screen out of an old CTX EzBook laptop I had in the basement, which is a perfect bolt-up and same plug config as the other screen. It's a Samsung LT121S1-105. I couldnt find the datasheet for the S1, but heres the datasheet for the SS. It shouldnt make a difference. http://beyondinfinite.com/lcd/Librar...T121SS-105.pdf

Is this LVDS? I'd be very happy if it was

Nope, 18 bit TTL again. The clue is the 6 bits of red, green and blue on page 15 with LSB and MSB marked.

For LVDS you are looking for 3 or 4 pairs of differential signals (marked as + and -). The LVDS signals are ATX0-3 and BTX0-3 in the ITX pinout link in your first post.

Alright now I see. I also have a ELO 1247L with a missing touch panel, but the screen still works. It's also a TTL, but it's a VGA > TTL connection, so im trying to fit all of the power and converter components into the case along with the ITX board. It seems like I might be able to get this working afterall. If I can, i'll be sure to post pics. Thanks for all the help Rob.
