Per my post above, new drivers were released yesterday that work much better on multi-monitor setups

It was pretty whacky to get it setup on my dev laptop, not sure exactly what sequence of actions I had to do to get it working, but it works! I didn't use the 3m tools, just the built-in Win7 tools.
I'm actually not using this for my car just yet, but for Windows touch development. The single touch gestures work great (flick lists, inertia, etc.).
EWF, HORM, MinLogon on XP.
Zotac ION Atom N330, 2GB low-profile RAM, M3-ATX
Win Embedded Std 2011 RC
OCZ Vertex Turbo 30GB SSD
Lilliput 629 Transflective, WRX Screen Mount
BlueSoleil BT, i-Blue GM-2 GPS, DirectedHD Radio, Andrea Mic
VoomPC 2

PM sent on his email. Or you can just contact the seller through ebay.
I got the screen and tried it out on my laptop. It was packaged extremely well and professionally. The touchscreen works great. It's a little weird to get used to because I'm used to the resistive screen where I have to use my fingernail to get exact touches to close windows, etc. You can't use your fingernail on this, you need to use your finger. But I think I'll like it, especially with RR. The driver is a lot better than the resistive. I'm only using XP. I haven't gotten a chance to get a side-by-side comparison, but it looks quite a bit brighter than my old 619. It was much brighter than my IBM laptop's screen. There is still a bit of glare though. The real test will be to get it under normal afternoon sun. The double-din setup is a little small for the opening on my oem radio bezel, so I have some trim on order and will need to wait before I get it installed. But I'll hook it up to my laptop and post some pics of the two screens side-by-side when I get a chance.

Good news, so it's brighter! Now what about contrast and sunlight readability? The glare is not good news, but it depends on how much, right?
Thanks, darag2358, very useful info. Please, keep them coming!

Good contrast, sunlight readability is unknown yet. I was going to try today, but it's raining and overcast/dark. Hopefully sunny days again soon.

I am down for a groupbuy looking for a good screen for my first carputer build.
And here I was going to see if we could get you one for free to test. But i guess you are all set?

Damn you
My impressions are this. Compared to my old Lilliput 619/629, whatever it was (not the latest version), there is a noticeable improvement in readability in direct sun. There is still quite a bit of glare from the touchscreen glass, but the difference is that I can still see through it. Glare was not my biggest problem, as I have a black interior. I only saw glare when my hand was near the screen. The display is brighter, sharper, better colors, and more contrasty. My old screen has the contrast set at 100 and brightness at 66. The new one was better at lower settings, preserving highlight blowout on the screen. I tried taking pictures with my cell phone, but they were really poor and I'm not going to post them. Sorry, I know. You could not make out any difference in the photos. If I get another chance I'll pull out my dslr.
I have to think that much of the difference is related to the better monitor itself. I think a more fair comparison might be to test this one along side a standard 701 monitor with a resistive ts. The touchscreen is nicer though.
Is it worth it? For me it was, as I can see a noticeable difference in the screen. I wish there was some better anti-glare coating though.

I just ordered one of these screens from the same seller. This will be my first ever Car PC and I wanted to do it right. Any updates from the people who already have the screen?
