Hi guys, long time reader, haven't posted much. After a few years, I've finally got my car pc ready. I'll be finishing up a few final touches on the install tomorrow in the car, so I decided to bring the pc in and load up the OS and everything in house tonight.
I have a Lilliput EBY701 touch screen hooked up via USB on a Windows 7 64 bit OS. The video is GeForce 7100 (from my motherboard's onboard nForce 630i). All the latest drivers/updates have been installed. The display is fine, everything's working great, except the screen doesn't recognize when I touch it.
After struggling with "no more controller" error for awhile, I finally got the latest Win 7 drivers from www.touchkit.com/drivers.htm
Now, the Touchkit software recognizes a USB touchscreen controller is installed, and everything seems to be good software/driver wise, but I can't for the life of me figure out why this thing won't respond.
I'm really excited to get this install finished, its been 4 years, and this last stupid problem is holding me back!!
All help is appreciated, please help!! Thanks!

If your screen is mounted in a bybyte double din frame or something similar, or if you took the screen apart from the stock casing and installed it into a LCD frame yourself, the ribbon coming from the touch panel might be inserted backwards into the controller board. Try reversing the ribbon. I had the same problem that you did when I first tried to set my screen up.
the egalax drivers that i linked to above work like a charm, I was getting an uncalibratable touch screen until i used those drivers. Hope you are able to fix your screen!
Even the eGalax drivers aren't working. It must be a hardware issue.. I did install it in a Bybyte frame. I will check the direction of the ribbon cable when I get home tonight and post back. Thanks!
Don't use the egalax drivers, I prefer the Touch Kit drivers. Just my 2 cents.
