...also im thinking of getting the magden. i believe it has the optional DVI output. will it be something i really want to use? will it make a difference on the xenarc monitor?
i was looking into a small touch screen monitor for some incar gauges.
i notice on this forum more people are using lilliput but i kinda like the look of the screen's bezel of the xenarc units:
XENARC 706TSA™
7" TFT LCD Touchscreen Monitor w/ DVI & VGA & AV inputs
and
XENARC 700TSV™
7" TFT LCD Touchscreen Monitor w/ VGA & AV inputs
any reason why one is better or worse than the other?
pro's or con's?
also why do people on here use lilliput more than xenarc?

Lilliputs are less expensive and there are mounting options for the Lilliput that make installation easier, such as the ones made by ByByte.
Generally speaking, Xenarc makes a better quality monitor, although the quality gap between the two products has closed to almost nil over the past several years.
And you'd know if you will use DVI for your monitor.
