    Can anyone tell me if this LCD Module will work?

    I currently have a motorized in dash monitor but I would like to make a flush fit monitor. (As if it came stock in the car)

    I was looking at LCD Modules and found the following that would fit. NEC 6.5 inch Color LCD Module NL6448AC20-02. You can see the unit at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=31569

    I was wondering what I need to know when looking at modules. What parts are needed that may not be included? What brightness so I can see it during the day? Anything else?

    I plan on doing a touchscreen overlay with whatever I get but need to make sure that I buy something that I can get to work. (I am not an electrical person but rather a computer / audio person)

    Looks like you would need a lcd graphics card (expensive) or a converter (can be expensive) you will NOT be able to connect it to a std. vga output. Unless you want to spend a lot of money or know a lot about electronics I recomend you give it a miss.
