Any of you guys got any good pics of the brackets you used (especially you Jetta guys). I'd love to get a good idea how you have them secured to the dash.

you're gonna have to custom fab a bracket.

at the moment, i'm using some strapping stuff to mount it to the back of the bezel, but plan on building a much better bracket to mount it to where the factory stereo mounts so that it's more solid and goes back exactly the same everytime.

dx84crx, it still looks like *** in my eyes, and now that i'm about to move into a house w/a garage, i'll actually have somewhere to do real work to my car... so... give me a couple months.. it will look much better

    Thanks for the welcome 00CericaRuss

Yeah, its the JDM surround that they have in Japan for the SAT/NAV system. A guy in the UK did a group buy for them for 90 each which worked out a lot cheaper (just put a bit of MDF and red alcantara over the keyboard hole) than paying someone to fabricate a surround

Climate Control is std issue (along with leather seats, electric windows, alloy pedals, 16in alloys) on the UK equivalent of the GTS.

    Just a quick plug www.celica-club.co.uk

Mine is mostly attached with friction/doublesided tape/the dash itself.

Someday I will finish it...but for the last couple of years it has looked just like that.
