I just got lucky because I could not get a pinout from Fujitsu Limited for the display . So I just hooked up the display up to the controller to see if worked and it did .

    AlenRubble-
This is perfect for my carputer project. I would like to make a 'carbon copy' of your setup, but I have contacted a rep from Dicon and found out that the controller is made for a LG display. Did you have to modify the BIOS on the controller at all, for the Fujitsu LCD, or did it work with these various parts you had around?? Also, is the temp diplay just part of the screenshot, or is it an actual real-time reading? If so, what of? Something I should be concerned with for my project?

The controller was plug and play to the display . You can email Dicon and get the pinout for the controller. The controller comes with all the cables and all need to get is the display. I just used powerstrip 3. (To line up the sreen) Right click on powerstrip icon , display profiles, configure , advanced timing options, then I used the arows to shrunken it fit the screen. This sould work with most small screen's.

    Pinout for LCD

Do you have the pinouts for the Fuji LCD? It seems that Fuji likes to keep that info under lock and key....

    Screen Resolution

By the way allen, what resolution are you getting out of this? Is it custom, or 640X480? At the very least, what's the max resolution you can squeeze out of this setup?

    Still a little lost

I just got a response from Fujitsu. Not good. It goes like this:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you very much for your support and interest in
    Fujitsu products.

The LCD unit that you are inquiring about is 8.8"
    wide-format XGA TFT LCD(1024 x 512).

Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with the information
you requested as the LCD has been designed and manufactured specifically for our notebook PCs, and the LCD alone is not for sale to consumers. Therefore it is not allowed by our company policy to release the information on the LCD to customers.

    We will appreciate your understanding.

    Sincerely,

At the very least I got the resolution question answered. Pinouts are the big problem now. If you have them handy, I could really use them.

Where can I get the hirose connectors or the actual cable to connect the controller to the LCD. Also, I guess I would like a OSD controller board. Been searching around with no luck.
