Thread: Just got my vga touchscreen, DSCustoms brand

Let me start off by saying that I've read good and bad about the Gain manufactured/ Xenarc packaged VGA lcd screens. Well, I decided to dig in a bit deeper and found that Dave from DSCustoms started to sell the ones straight from Gain and packaging them himself. The price was unmatched and he guaranteed them to be in 100% new condition. I decided to take that gamble.

I just got my screen in today, and holy moses this thing is so tight. Text is 100% clear, touchscreen works like a champ, and well everything works perfectly.

I'm almost scared to tear it out of its casing to install it in my car It has to be done though. I'll get some pics up of it here soon (though nothing special about it in the case since it looks nearly like all the other 7" widescreen LCD VGA screens.

Anyway, just to let everyone know, this is a satisfied customer with DSCustoms first and foremost, and a satisfied user of a 7" vga touchscreen LCD.

I do recommend that you setup a macro/quick key for quitting applications because getting your finger into the corner for the X/close application button is rough. I'll put my pics up here tomorrow when I install it in my car: maximaPC
