    What do people think of the touch screen sold on Digital world wide

    Hi all new to this forum but I’m a member of the UK MK4 forum and if any of you have been over there just about every one is planning on putting a PC in there car and well so am I. I was wondering what you guys think of the touch screen sold on Digital world wide, it seems to be the cheapest, or is it cheap and nasty? Also if any one with a MK4 golf has put one flush mounted in there dash how did you secure it all in?

    I like mine.

    I just got TM-701L last week, and so far so good. For the price it is the best option.

    Keep in mind that it is composite, and not VGA. There will be a difference in quality if you are expecting it to look _just_ like your monitor.

    With minor tweaking MediaEngine and myHTPC look fine.

    The unit is about .5cm larger than the stock head unit in my Nissan Xterra(Double DIN), but I managed to squeeze it in after flattening out the stock mounting brackets.
