Toshiba 8.4" LVDS panel on ebay

I just received this panel, and Im beginning to think this is not a lcd panel, but only the led backlight module. The only connector is the 6 wire one you can see in the pictures.
Before I start flaming the seller, can anyone confirm this?

Those are NOT complete LCD panels.

I found a good picture of the back side. Seems the seller is misrepresenting the LCD panels.
Notice the LVDS connector is missing?

The actual LCD was stripped from the frame.

Ok thx for the info tft, but I was hoping to connect the panel directly to the motherboard, it has onboard lvds connector. I guess it would be easier to find another lvds panel than a controller for this toshiba. Looks like the 8.9" netbook panels might work, or maybe a ipad panel.

I emailed with the seller, and he/she was not much help.

Yup, that connector is not on the panel I received. Im guessing the seller did not know that these panels are incomplete, since they have a ebay store called Reliable Computer Recyclers, they want to keep a good reputation.

I agree, but they did list them as actual LCD panels. Kind of misleading, since they are useless in their present condition. The person emailing me was quick to hide behind the old "we got them from a 3rd party, don't have any information, blah blah blah".

If you want an 8.9" LCD wired for a mobo, feel free to contact me.

The seller quickly refunded my money and took down the auction when I told them about it, so Im not gonna give them any more trouble.

Isn't the standard 8.9" that goes to the motherboard on laptops LVDS cables ?
