I have been thinking of running a secondary monitor on the dash to show OBD2 info only and leaving the 7 inch screen as the main centrafuse/everything else screen. (and before you ask, I know Centrafuse has OBD2 capability, it doesn't support the software I use -Nissan is 'special' and my car predates the use of standard OBD2 by Nissan)
Due to the location (dashboard lower drivers side corner) I don't want a huge monitor and ideally I would prefer it to be usb (I would prefer non touch screen) however the only monitors of the correct size seem to be ones for reversing cameras and have RCA connectors only. Does anyone know of any 3 - 4 inch screens that will plug directly into a PC as a secondary monitor or alternatively is there a way to get the reversing camera style ones to work as a PC display?
looks perfect but unfortunately it is marked as out of stock and obsolete :-(
And no, the cheap Chinese 3.5" lcd's don't have a chip in them that you can tap into for vga.
