EBY701, What is the 2-pin plug for?

    Hi
Just purchased one of these second hand and new to the carPC thing.
Anyone know what the 2-pin plug is for behind the circuit board, and how i can use it?

Also, i didnt get a cig socket power adapter.
I'm thinking the only way i can power this safely in the car is to use an M4-ATX right?

    thanks for the help.

Is it me, or is something missing? Normally on the EBY701, pink and white wires are for the touch screen. This board looks different then the EBY701 ones I have. Is this the LED version?

Actually, the pink and white wires are for the back light.

The old style CCFL, and the 1st gen. LED panels both used separate wires for the back lights, and as you guessed, they were identical looking. Pink and White.

The board in the picture is a 629.

If you have the connector on your board that looks like a narrow back light connector, and you say your panel is LED, then you have a 1st gen. LED version.

These pictures should clear things up.

The pic is of a 629 control board. THe black/red wires on the left side of the pic (above VGA) are not on the 701 control board so I can only assume you are refreing to the red/black wires at the top right of the pic. They are for the internal speaker.
