    Display Question

I have an old Jensen in dash DVD player that crapped out on me. Is it possible to remove the monitor (its not touch) and use that as a display? It seems logical but I have no clue how I would power it or get it to display video. Any thoughts?

probably not-- i would venture a guess that you would need at least a oscilloscope, and some decent electronics knowledge on building your own lcd video controller... and i doubt you could build a controller for cheaper then you could buy a complete vga touchscreen monitor..

Plus, the LCD is most likely 480x234 resolution (not good for PC use) since it is in a dvd player.

Not worth the time or effort considering you can find a cheapo screen for under 90.00.
