Problem with 8" Lilliput Screen (869GL-80NP/C/T)

So I purchased an 8" Lilliput 869GL-80NP/C/T - Its the TouchScreen with HDMI. Its supposed to do 1920x1080 which it in fact does display, however not properly. Below are two images. Im running a 32" 1080p TV and the 8" in cloning mode, 1920x1080:

This is on my 32" TV:

And here is the 8" TouchScreen:

You can see how its missing part of the side/top. Its also missing the same on bottom/etc...

If i put the screen in say 1280x720 or 1024x720 SOMETHING like that, i forget exact numbers, then it displays fine on both. But the reason I bought this was because of the 1920x1080 resolution it supports.

Im using HDMI. Any thoughts/comments/ideas? Id rather use 1920x1080 because

    1) I bought this screen for that reason
    2) I want my 32" on my wall to still be in 1080p resolution.

    Hi Vycor,

Ive just purchased a Lilliput 7" 669GL-70NP/C/T-H, plugging it into a few different Pc's gave different results,

    Windows XP SP3:

Windows detects it as a 1280*720 panel, only lets the monitor go above 1280*720, which i thought was strange, lifting the restriction and setting it to 1920*1080 allowed it to be displayed but with panning.

    Windows 7

Allows it to display full 1080p??

not sure if it a driver/OS issue.

Anyway hopefully to help you with your problem.

Try holding the menu button in until the screen goes black, this enables/disables a zoom mode whilst in HDMI. Im thinking your is in Zoom mode right now.

    Regards

    Rapture

what i found out with my 8" lilluput is is when you use "HDMI" input in that it does as you said, cuts some edges off. But if you use the "DVI" input on the lilliput with the hdmi cable you should get the whole screen. At least that is how i was able to get mine to work.

    Hope this helps!

Hold menu button for few seconds and it will switch from dvd to pc in hdmi mode.
Hope it will work for you.
