    Well when more and more things become multi touch enabled, I hope you enjoy buying another screen. I'd rather run a headless single din than outdated rubbish.

    What? ROFLOL

    As they say, there's nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.

    Have you ever heard of two and three finger gestures? And pinch to zoom is not difficult at all, specially with small screens where finding a (+) and (-) can be hard to find.

    But your fundamental mistake is to assume that:

    1. There's only one person in the car - the driver - and/or the passenger is incapacitated;

    2. The car is always moving. No stoplights or you don't commute much, do you? For some people pinch to zoom is becoming second nature, demanding less attention than fiddling with windshield wipers.

    Maybe we should abolish the windshield wipers next? Yeah those with intermittent timers you can regulate, what a freak of nature...

    Yes, please get rid of them. I am sick and tired of rolling down my window to grab the wiper arm and slap it on the glass to remove the chunk of ice that is wiping a smear across my field of view. LOLOLOL!!!

    Well, that sucks indeed. The other day I saw on tv a guy in a car scraping ice on the inside of his windshield!

    Yes, I've had that happen before too. I just use the defroster and the auto start

    That particular monitor has the 3m touch panel, which is too large to fit a double din frame.

    It's 2011 now, and I'm not sure why you are the only one that's selling a prebuilt capacitive touchscreen. But I guess it's good that at least one person is providing this product and making it available for the MP3car community.

    It's a shame that these screens aren't more affordable. With android tablets being more affordable now and will becoming much cheaper this year, I will just get a tablet instead of buying a capacitive touchscreen. And most android tablets are capacitive and multitouch.

    I don't know how CES can be overflowing with 7-8" multi touch capacitive devices and we can't buy a screen anywhere?

    The problem is, none of the panel manufacturers' want to make the 7" in a USB version. Not enough demand yet.

    The capacitive multi touch panels found in phones and those cheap android tablets use the I2C protocol, not USB. I2C is not easily adapted to a PC.
