Yes it will, but just like the frame you need to use the HDMI adapter for the video if you are using it. There is also a new version of the 669 "H" bracket that we are now shipping. I dont have the pics up yet. It simplifies the conversion process to a degree.
link plz :).

The frame arrive from the mp3store, i guess i missed where it said it doesn't fit the 669 cause the pix were identical!
Did i mention i have the 5 wire version
I have the 5 wire, and I made the same mistake. I emailed Bybyte and asked them if there were going to make a double din frame for the 5 wire version, and they told me the 5 wire is too big for double din - which means it just isn't going to happen.

And a link to the product on Ebay and our site
We also have 5M/16’ HDMI to HDMI cables for the 669 that can be found here. They have the touch built in, via USB, like the stock cable
yeah it's annoying, how freaking hard is it to make it a touch larger to fit the screen, its a 7in so cmon!!

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Do you know how much it is for a new mould? Do you realize that if you make it bigger there will be additional problems with it fitting in double din dash kits? I dont blame David/Bybyte one bit for not doing it.
How hard would it be for Lilliput to change the size of the touch panel on the 5 wire version?
I don't agree, and I hope my previous post didn't lead anyone to believe that I think Bybyte is to blame. I think Lilliput is to blame here. They must have known that their monitors are hacked and used in carpc applications, and to change the panel size seems pretty dumb to me.

It still looks like a monitor, and I had to mount the monitor to the wood, then bolt the wood in from the rear of the instrument cluster finish panel (what a pain in the butt), but it's where my head unit used to be, it's rock solid, and looks pretty darned good until I get around to following one of the awesome fabrication threads and I make my own custom bezel. It would be nice to have a double-din frame, but since the panel is too big for it there's no sense in yelling at Bybyte about it.
Speaking of a custom bezel, when do you think you'll have the 669 five wire front housing available, Chris?
Just to be clear the issue with the Bybyte double DIN frame and the 5 wire 669 is that the touch panel is larger then the LCD panel. The LCD panel in the 5 wire HB is exactly the same size as every other 7" panel they use. It is absolutely a problem that Lilliput can fix if they want to.
I also agree the Bybyte frame is freaking awesome, jut not suited for all 7in models and i found out the hard way. Not blaming anyone, just sucx
The glass TSplanel on front of the screen is the problem of fitting into these items which seems to have been designed around the 619/629. [This is my opinion as i am not sure what was the prototype used by ByByte] nor do i have the knowledge of the building of the product that you may have with the owners as a reseller
As from what I can see its The H bracket that was added to hold the control board of the 669 as I see no other difference especially when it was ordered online both diagrams are identical.
So to me it appears that only one version was made not 2 version of frames (i could be wrong)
For my application and a few front bezels, It wouldn't make much of a difference it in the size at all it looks to be only a millimeter or 2 larger although I've not measured this to be precise and the ribbon cable location is also difference.
