I know what transflective is, and thats not what I had in mind. And the light doesn't have much intensity but at least that way it won't be lighting up the inside of my dash.

And kiss my *** if you think I'm a noob.

You rude ****! I actually gave you a polite answer to what you mentioned and that is how you reply. Well **** off is all i can say!

I presumed you wanted to put the film behind the LCd not over it as an overlay. Either way your rudeness was complely uncalled for.

    I was referring to Wiredwrx

And no, I was thinking as an overlay. The LCD light would pass out, but the screen wouldn't reflect whats in the car. Every time my girlfriend wears a pink shirt...

You can get AG films but to be honest the general consensus is that they just reduce the brightness and cause more fuzzyness. Most of the glare comes from the TS overlay. I would love to get some new (non reisistive) TS overlays made but we would need about 200 confirmed orders and i have no idea how much the overlays and new USB controllers would be.

I am planning on trying an antiglare film after I get the brighness up to arounf 1000nit. My second screen won't have a TS and will be high up and not recessed so I will definitely be trying an AG film on that.

I have found a place that can coat TS overlays but I have to send them one to try and I am going to see what their coating is like 1st applied to a normal piece of acrylic.

I bet we could get 200 + confirmed orders for overlays if it would make the difference and not be crazy expensive... of course it probably would have to be 200 of a lilliput or 200 of a xenarc right? Cause that might not be so easy.

I just know that brightness for me is a major thing, but reflection is killer when I have the top down.

Well maybe we will look into it more when we have got these backlights done.
