Thread: Lilliput 669 and resume from sleep issue

Is it possible that this is a display sleep issue? Don't know what OS you are using, but check into the display settings and be sure they are set to never sleep. Also, check the power settings to see if something that may cause that behavior is set in there.

Heh i didnt even know i could wake my pc by pressing the touchscreen. All this time and i've never tried it. What are you resuming to? I have a problem where CF is cut off of a portion of my 669 sometimes when i resume from standby. Doesnt happen outside of CF though.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate. I thought there was a pop-up that would display my carpc specs, that's why I didn't post that tidbit of information.

Nope, I doubt it's a display sleep problem. If I suspend the computer and wiggle the mouse (or press the power button on the case, or use any other USB device to wake the computer), the display pops right up. It's only if I touch the screen does the screen not wake up. All of my power settings are correct (as in not turn off the screen, power button=sleep, etc). This might be unique to the touchscreen.

I'm pretty sure I can install the MCE standby tool and get the screen to wake up every time (it works great for HDMI handshake issues between a PC and HDTV), but I'd rather not install something if I can help it.

It doesn't matter if I resume to the desktop or CF or any other application. I don't have any display issues once the monitor actually wakes up, it's just getting it to wake up when I press the touchscreen that's the problem.
