669GL washing out...??

I finally got my 669Gl custom mounted into the housing I am using. Problem is now that after like 5 seconds, the screen starts to washout. Its kinda like it keeps getting brighter and bright so eventually you cant see anything. I can get it to go back to normal by touching the board or moving it around, but nothing I do works twice. Its not the source cuz it stays washed out even on the "no input" screen

And once it goes back to normal, after about 5 seconds it starts to wash out again. :(

It doesnt appear to be a loose connection at the ribbon since i cant get it to clear up by messing with the ribbon every time.

any ideas??
