(Question) Lilliput 629GL and M4 power Supply

Ok i need to know if it would be safe to connect my lilliput to my cigarette plug (with a regulator) and have my power supply's ignition Cord attached to it as well. (ignition cord tells PSU to turn on computer)

Also does any one know how many amps my lilliput draws? and how many amps the M4 would draw from the Ignition cord.

the lilliput should draw less then 1A, and the m4 should not draw much more then 0.5A --though probably closer to 100-200mA. typically, cig lighters use 10A fuses..

i would prefer to recommend connecting to the radio harness for power, and to use a new ground point. sometimes, there are problems with factory grounds causing noise.

Thats weird because i tried that and the 15 amp fuse blew!

I wonder if something else is drawing power from the same fuse?

If i use the 12 volt power from the wire harness, could i also use that line to connect the head unit, PSU and the lilliput?

ok, looked it up-- according to this link, the 629 consumes a max of 8 watts, which works out to be about 0.6A, so the remote wire+ lilliput should be no more then 1.1 amps power draw... there could be something wired incorrectly taht caused this as well.

i know the first time i connected my dsatx, i almost reversed some of the power connections, maybe you did the same?
