Lilliput 669 Flashing Screen with intel mobile express chipset?

Just bought a brand new Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T-HB-RV. Began bench testing with an ASUS EEEPC 900 slated to be Carputer version 1.0 and right away ran into problems. Kind of hard to tell but the lilliput actually displays the picture from the laptop for about a 1/4 of a second before it goes black for a full second and then repeats. Ive tried the 669 with 4 laptops and 1 desktop. Great picture over VGA except for the ASUS EEEPC and a Dell Latitude 5400 which displayed the exact same behavior. Both Laptops run Mobile Intel Express Chipsets. I've tried several different resolutions and refresh rates, updated the video drivers and even a clean full install of XP. I get the same results booted into safe mode and even at the XP splash screen which I believe should be the lowest common denominator VGA. Anyone have an idea where to go from here? My carputer budget is tapped so I would really like to get this working with the EEEPC.
