Question Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T - Reverse Wiring Problem

    Hello All.

So I bought the Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T 7" from mo-so-co.com preassembled in a Double Din Frame.

I have so far tested the screen outside of the car and it worked great with the touch, etc.

I have just tried to wire up the auto switching reverse wire for the screen to switch to video2 automatically. Firstly I tried to wire it up to the wire I have ran from my reverse light to my dash.

The problem I ran into is the screen constantly flashes between PC and Video2. And even when I put the car into reverse and the lights come on it still flashes inbetween PC and Video2.

So I thougt it must of been the wire I ran. The next troubleshooting I did was the try a short wire from the reverse light. Still constantly flashed between PC and video2.

So I thought maybe its my car. So I used a spare 240v AC (I'm in Australia) to 12v DC transformer and plugged that in. Still have the trouble of flicking between PC and Video2.

Now I should add that I did have my laptop connected to the screen but nothing connected to the Video2 in. I didnt have anything handy (dont have my reverse cam yet) and I read this shouldnt matter. Also, I was using the 240v AC - 12v DC transformer that came with the screen for power.

Anyone had this problem or have any idea what might be going on. I am thinking I may have a buggered unit. I have emailed mo-co-so.com but thought I might try my luck here.

I have searched for anyone with this same problem. One guy who had a similar problem fixed it with a relay, however the fact that I used and external 12v trans to power the auto switch and it still did it means that a relay wont help here.

    Thanks all.

Alright so I worked it out thanks to a very helpful guy at mo-so-co.com

Apparently it does need video input on both the pc and video2 channels for it to work.

At least this will be here for anyone else who has this problem.
