Says to enquire about other models, so just sent them an enquiry.
For anyone else interested in this I found a controller.

As for the debate on high resolution 7" screens. I agree with the OP, the more the better. I was a skeptical and I used to agree with HT magazines claiming you "don't need/won't notice" 1080p below 40", and now I believe it's BS. Why? Well, since I bough an iPhone 4 with a ultra high resolution display, where I can actually see the difference in a 3.5" screen (960x740). I have seen Android phones, I have Android Tablets, and I'm supposed to not notice much difference, after all at 7" 640x480 should be good enough. Not true AT ALL. My galaxy tab has a 1024x600 screen, and I can definitely wish for more. It's clearly inferior to the iPhone screen resolution wise, maps, text, pictures, the zoom in better and look sharper at any size on the iPhone.
So YES, I would definitely see a difference in a 7" with 1080p, and I completely understand the need for it. BTW, not only while reading, but when zooming in/out you can clearly see more detail. So while it's not necessary at all, I can see the need in a quality install.
Has anyone found a higher res 7" screen with controller? I still haven't found anything smaller than the 8.9" above which will require a custom dash piece to fit.
The controller I linked to lists the 720p 8.9" Toshiba screen specifically in the instructions for which jumpers are required to get it working.
can you guys stop bringing up the IPhone 4 and its high resolution
a small screen with a resolution too high is just a waste of money, requires more cpu power and is a waste of power
I get tired when I hear people say "I want my LCD to have a retina display"
NO YOU DON'T
The reason the iPhone 4 high resolution works is because 1) you can quickly enlarge/shrink items and... drumroll 2) you can easily move your phone closer or farther away from your face
This doesn't work for displays that are stationary.. can you imagine being 6-12 inches away from your laptop monitor ?
Windows 8 is already going to limit what it can do with less than 720p. Give up on harping for awful resolution screens, soon they'll be in the past where they belong.
Really? Didn't know about that. Sad news for Xenarc and the likes.
I think 720p should be the standard for 7". Or at least 1024x600 like on the Galaxy tab tablet (which is low for a tablet, IMHO).
It maybe a waste of power, but then again so it's a 1000W subwoofer. I'd love to get at least 1/10 of the number of options I get from the aftermarket car sound market - and nobody is concerned about "wasting" power there, why should we? It's not like we're have to rely on batterie power all the time.
