AUX in is a much better idea!

As for the brightness thing I would say no to that. I don't think I'd like being in a completely dark car and the lights brightening when I press a button while driving. I do like that it'll be based on the headlights though!

It make sense. If the brightness change in dark car, it will change our eye aperture and not good for driving safe

Function remove.

Does the "60% brightness" feature adjust the image brightness control or does it change the lumen output of the LED backlight through some sort of PWM controller?

I had to ask because I bought a Lilliput with a "5 way adjustable backlight" but it turned out to be a 5 way image brightness adjustment. The backlight dimming seems like much better method.

Well I hope the capacitive version can come in around 250 or so. Less would certainly be nicer

I think motorcity sells it with the bybyte and capacitive screen for like $250 if I recall correctly.

A request I'd like to see filled is that you develop a head rest mounting bracket/enclosure to work with your LCD screen. Not many of them out there anymore it seems. With how quickly you're turning this out it definitely shouldn't take long!

We will try to make the barebone below $250. Also, a complete computer system version will come out too

For the headrest version, we did consider that before but after a ipad holder came out, we kill the project...7" may too small for headrest? what do you think?

I don't think 7" is too small for a headrest at all, many headrests now days have a hard time squeezing a 7". The only option I've seen for a headrest LCD of any sort of quality is the MultiTouch700. I haven't seen any other options. My problem with the MT700 is that it's VGA. It's really hard to get VGA video cards now days and I don't particularly want to have active adapters to run VGA displays.
