Found my problem- The main flex had pulled out when I mounted it. Really wish I had an official case for it that I could screw everything down to. : )

Hi, I assume the problem may from the bad connection with the main cable, which between the LCD and the control board. Could you check and re-connect it? Also try to reconnect the backlight 6pins cable.

Don`t worry, we will solve it. keep in touch

No menu, no video input, no HDMI, just a white screen. I can't get my Intel graphics card in to 800x480 mode anymore, not sure why. But at 800x600x60 or 1024x728x60 I get nothing. The screen flashes back then back to white when I change video modes on the PC, so the screen is getting something. The AV button doesn't seem to do anything either.

I'm wondering if the HDMI cable is too long, or too noisy. I'll try to get a short one for a trail and see how it goes.

    LCD Touch Screens and parts

Hi was recently looking for reasonably priced LCD controllers to repair 2 19" monitors that needed sorting out as one packed up working and the other was having trouble starting up, Both the same make.
Was also wondering if i could use the 2 laptops that ive had for ages in the loft.
One a small Dell Latitude that works but just too slow and small as a laptop but the 12.1" screen with 1024x768 XGA screen would work well as car touch screen monitor if its salvageable and the other an old Notebook that was given to me.

Searched the net for repair monitor and use old laptop screens and got a hit that covers all the boxes, i've spent most of my time on Centrafuse forum recently and posted same there, but here is you tube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiOKd...eature=related and it gave me a supplier of parts for touch screens and controller cards that sell on Ebay. http://stores.ebay.com/njytouch?_trksid=p4340.l2563

    Good prices too.

    Keith

Hey Derrick, is there any type of camera management on this monitor. I bought one from you a while ago to use as a video monitor, but now I'm going a different route. But I want to put it in my truck and use a camera for reverse monitoring, but also a second camera to use as a rear view mirror. I was thinking of putting it up near the cargo lamp on my truck cabin, and then have the feed on the monitor. But I'd like to have it switch from there full time to reverse or back up camera automatically when I go in reverse. Is there any way to do that with this monitor without relays etc? Just curious. Looking at all options. Thanks!

    Sorry for the late reply

    Here the solution for you:
    1. connect your reverse camera to the AV-1, then connect the 12V signal cable(from your car`s reverse system) to the reverse trigger, which beside mini-USB port.
    2. connect your 2nd camera to the AV-2.

Now you are all set. You can select AV-2 channel for the 2nd Camera in normal circumstance. Once you put in reverse gear, the monitor will auto switch to AV-1, which is your reverse camera. After you put the gear back from reverse, the monitor will auto switch back to AV-2.

hope this will help. if there is anything else we can help, please feel free to contact us at anytime. enjoy and have a wonderful day

BTW, anyone knows any famous Camera or Camcorder forum?

We just build up another version, which supports "peaking focus assistance". It is a very helpful function for manual focus, almost a "must have"

    here is the example:

In focus, it will shows "white spots"

If out focus, no "white spots" shows
