Is that text on the bottom of the screen really there or just on the picture? If it is I would remove it, it does not look good. Also, I would flatten that part of the screen, or is there a reason why that bottom bezel is there?
Also, regarding the LED colors, I assume you're using RGB leds? In that case can you make all color combinations (below) available with a jumper or maybe color mixing trough the software? (I realize the latter can have some challenges and may even need some hardware.)

Blue
Red+Green (Yellow)
Red+Blue (Purple)
Green+Blue (Cyan)
Red+Green+Blue (White)

I've been following this thread for months and I'm anticipating the release of the 2DIN screen. It looks great and it has been a joy watching the recommendations implemented.(thanks Derrick and the whole team).
But as my intent is to use a Raspberry Pi with Linux, I would like to know if the touchscreen and programmable buttons are Linux compatible?
A small update from my side.
The same LCD Panel (Resistive Touch) embedded into a custom CNC'ed bezel for Hyundai Tucson console
Some vehicle consoles are totally weird in their design to accept a standard 2DIN. See below the mods which were required to make the bezel fit!!!
