Any suggestion? If everybody agree with this, we are putting it in to production.

Is that text on the bottom of the screen really there or just on the picture? If it is I would remove it, it does not look good. Also, I would flatten that part of the screen, or is there a reason why that bottom bezel is there?

Also, regarding the LED colors, I assume you're using RGB leds? In that case can you make all color combinations (below) available with a jumper or maybe color mixing trough the software? (I realize the latter can have some challenges and may even need some hardware.)

    Red
    Green
    Blue
    Red+Green (Yellow)
    Red+Blue (Purple)
    Green+Blue (Cyan)
    Red+Green+Blue (White)

The text on the bottom, will hide between the 2 din case and your car`s 2din open bezel. that is the reason we can not make a "flat" one. because 7" is slightly bigger than 2din open
Any questions, please email to derrick.ny@gmail.com :)

    Question Linux support

    2) Should a rear-view cam be a NTSC or a PAL model? How about the resolution, anything goes?

    Thanks for any comments!
I've been following this thread for months and I'm anticipating the release of the 2DIN screen. It looks great and it has been a joy watching the recommendations implemented.(thanks Derrick and the whole team).

But as my intent is to use a Raspberry Pi with Linux, I would like to know if the touchscreen and programmable buttons are Linux compatible?

Some vehicle consoles are totally weird in their design to accept a standard 2DIN. See below the mods which were required to make the bezel fit!!!
