    Hi,

    What is the problem?

What about MOTOR CITY TECH which provided capacitive touch screen?
    do you work with them?

For now, their stock is empty (for monthes exactly)
1 year ago, I was able to buy one piece of these capacitive touch screen.

I replace my resitive touch screen by this one and.. OMG!!! no more reflection at sunlight in the car. The screen became more clear. It looks like an Ipad.
    These touch screens are MAGIC!

Can't you provide capacitive touch screen yourself?
I am sure if you provide it, you wil sell more touch screen kit than lcd screen.

Since we add too much function with the 2-DIN version, the has some software conflict and cause the system freeze up. Also, less wholesale client wants the capacitive version because much more expensive.

So we decide to put it aside now. Anyway, I will send message to my boss and see if we can have capacitive out ASAP

PS: the capacitive is like mirror, it should have more reflection than matt surface which the current resistive version one, no?

My screen is not working anymore? I just get white light, and no picture. Before that happend i had the picture, and when I would touch the screen, it would go white and than back to picture, and now its just white. I guess the cable between board and screen died, but I dont see any damage on it?

Update, I just found out that the wide LCD cable is broken at the end. Is that replacable or I need new screen?
Or can I repair it somehow?

I finally installed this monitor on my car, the only problem is that the touch screen is not precise, I did the calibration but nothing changed. It is wrong about 2 mm.
Anybody had similar problems? Thanks in advance

I think it was like that for me too. I calibrated it in windows, and then it was spot on.

PS: My screen is dead without that cable, I will order new one asap. My raspberry pi just arrived, and I didnt get the chance to try it, as I've broken my cable when I was connecting rpi to it

Does anyone have raspberry pi?? How did you set it up for carpc use? Someone in this thread wrote before that it works great with this screen, and the touch function works too. But I dont know what OS to use for it?
