Looks very well done Derrick!

Can we get some more photos focused on HDD/SSD and Automotive ATX PSU mount options which were planned during the design and also a fully populated box with all connectors.

How are we planning to get the VGA/HDMI cable from the rear (outside) of the box to the inside to connect to the display? Are you gonna supply those cables? I'm sure USB could use motherboard internal headers.

Also would there be various options on sale to cater to wide user requirements? For example...

Option-A: Full Box with LCD (with VGA and HDMI sub-variants) -
Option-B: Chassis minus the LCD & Controller but with the USB control board
Option-C: Just the Front Panel+USB control board
Option-D: Just the Front Panel+USB control board+LCD+VGA/HDMI A/D Board

I messaged you via ebay, but figured someone else may have had the same problem and could provide a stress free fix.

To everyone else -
Hi, so i bought the HDMI kit a bit less then a week ago, received on my door step today
Really happy with the delivery time, but anyways, plugged it all in, spliced a wire from the 12v rail on my M3-atx and hooked up the monitor (all on the workbench)
Things were looking good, the green led flashed on, the i saw the "no input" on the screen (had a hdmi cord plugged in but disconnected via pc)
I then activated the monitor via windows, and then i smelt a burning smell, looked down at the pcb and saw some smoke coming from just beneath the 4pin audio adaptor.
I quickly turned everything off and since then been hesitant about powering anything.
On a closer inspection of the board i can see some damage to one of the resistors? black things (refer to pic).
Just wondering what possibly could be wrong, i triple checked all my wiring, the auto dimmer,vga and av are all plugged into the board but not plugged into anythign else.

TLDR -
1. Received HDMI Touch LCD Kit tday
2. Plugged everything in, power to m3-atx 12v rail
3. Turned on, everything seemed to be working, then poof smell smoke and after about half a minute

If you can see the 3 sorta dots, on the blackthing beneath the 4pin connector

Conclusion:
Aside from the recent board malfunction i've been very pleased with Derrick. Good communication and fast shipping, i really hope this gets sorted out soon

Sorry for the trouble. Just got reply from our tech guy. Did you connect the audio out put with only one channel? for default setting. If you want to use AUDIO out put, you should connect the 4pin socket by "1-2" to left channel and "3-4" to right channel. If you only connect one speaker like "3-4", it will burn the AMP IC. but it will be a easy fix, we can send chips for you.

If you need to mix both channel in one output. Please do a little change to the board as following

short the fifth Resistor position in the first line. then move the 2nd Resistor to position 5 in second line.

What are the dimensions of the enclosure? If this is a mini-itx board you are using, I don't think most cars have enough depth behind the double-din opening. I'm trying to compare it to BlackBox-MiniITX: I think you managed to shave off an inch by having your screen enclosure be much thinner.

the dimensions is 21CM deep, 17.6CM width, 9.8CM height

we can sell the board plus front bezel only. so you can do it by your way if no space.
