    Hi James,

I received mine today. Looking very good so far. Didn't have time to test anything though.. The Left Button board is missing as Derrick said. But it doesn't look complicated to mount it, seems to bolt on without having to remove anything. Quality is very nice, the screen bracket doesn't look like cheap plastic and is nice to the touch. The only thing I'm a little concerned about are the cables going to the board connectors, they don't seem very stable to me.. Would move them to much to avoid damage

    Best regards,
    Tobias

I sent an email in to Derrick to order the full HDMI case kit and buttons kit. I think it will fit my dash better than the other ddin case out there, and it looks real nice too.

Well, since my build has finally hit a major snag and I'm waiting on a reply from Derrick, here's some eye candy.

    Edit for clarity:
And here's the cause of my snag. It seems the average "2DIN" dash and "2DIN" aftermarket stereo is actually a tiny bit narrower than the actual 2DIN specification. While I can't fault this unit on being true 2DIN, I don't know what I'm going to do now since I have zero fabrication and/or Dremel skills to make it fit right into what's considered a "2DIN" stereo bezel.

    Hi,

same for me, the case doesn't fit my "Adaptor" Frame! I thought I had the wrong frame, but now as I see this, it doesn't seem so anymore!

Will it fit with the lcd bezel behind the
    Dash panel like shown?

Can you find a used dash panel on eBay to use as dremel fodder to develop a solution with?

I had to do that with my current Android head unit, and hope I don't need to with this kit.

What mini-itx board did you choose and how was the fit with everything inside?

Just take a little off each side, use masking tape as a guide...You can do it!

Yes, well, I'd prefer to keep my rather expensive bezel I had to have shipped from Subaru Japan in tact in case I ever want to fit a normal size 2-DIN unit back where the PC was going to go. Either way I mis-measured my behind the dash depth so this solution is a no-go either way. I just feel like it wasn't fully clear that this isn't a direct fit for what's generally accepted as a 2-DIN stereo bezel, even if the unit does technically conform to the 2-DIN standard.
