I just took my button panel off, then back on and found it real fiddly to get aligned. What I had to do was to screw the top and bottom to the last 1mm of screw travel, then slowly turn the top screw in till I can just feel the switch start to click. Next I turned the bottom screw in till the second to top would click, and started wiggling the trhird button till it clicked, turning the bottom screw a small amount more, and wiggling again.
Eventually I got them all to click, then I tightened the top a bit more, and then the bottom again, test clicking them all.
What is happening is the tiny surface mount button's rubber part has to be centered perfectly on the buttons shaft. If it is slightly off center, the button won't press. Wiggling as you attempt to click is KEY to success. I don't want to do it again but my button panel needs replacement due to not being able to program BLUE buttons, and the mapping of my buttons is upside down, where whatever I program to the second to top button is mapped to the second to bottom and vice versa. Since the top button is
power, it renders the bottom button unprogramable.
