What is happening is the tiny surface mount button's rubber part has to be centered perfectly on the buttons shaft. If it is slightly off center, the button won't press. Wiggling as you attempt to click is KEY to success. I don't want to do it again but my button panel needs replacement due to not being able to program BLUE buttons, and the mapping of my buttons is upside down, where whatever I program to the second to top button is mapped to the second to bottom and vice versa. Since the top button is power, it renders the bottom button unprogramable.

we did acknowledge that few sample shipment we received has wrong position mapping problem. it will go up side down...but all button should be programmable, just wrong position.

If the plug on the left buttons board is the same, maybe you can try to swap the left buttons cable with the touchscreen pointer cable to see if it's in the cable. Also, you can unplug the cable from the screen, try an meter to buzz the 4 pins to look for a short.

Mine works fine by the way. I tested with the USB plug, then cut that off and connected to motherboard header.

- Did you try it with an external USB hub?
- check with an DMM if any of the pins on the white connector has a short to another pin on the connector or power supply ground
- do the screen and the pc use the same ground?
