Moderation queue gets backed up a bit on the weekends. I have approved your posts and you're no longer moderated before being allowing to post.. Apologies
I hate to say it but the problem is still there...
If you look at the picture above, the shortcut in the top right is cut in half and in the bottom right the time and date are cut off..
It says 19:5 instead of 19:52 and 2011/5 instead of 2011/5/15..
It seems too wide for the screen still :(
Hope there is something we are all missing..
We acknowledged this issue and working on it. One of the possible as we said before, it is Win7 limit when resolution under 1024* 768. We will keep everybody updated :)
PS: 800*480 is a standard resolution for nearly all 7" screen. So it won`t be a big problem for driver board to handle it.
Thanks, Sonicxtacy02. I appreciated :)
for the cut off area in the right, we are working on it. One of the possible is Win7 limit when resolution below 1024* 768. We will keep everybody updated.
PS: I post this reply before but still can`t see it. So I post again to see what happen.
The issue is still there, it seems like both the VSYNC and HSYNC are off, and the controller is still messing with it.
As far as windows 7 giving that message, it is simply saying that all the icons on the desktop would not fit when the resolution is that low. I can get 800x480 to work on my laptop screen, and it says that message, but does not stretch the desktop like that. (I've got the onboard Intel graphics card, which allows custom resolutions. It's not a matter of getting the computer to send 800x480, it's a matter of the display showing it correctly.)
I'm pretty much ready to order one, but I'm not going to spend a penny on something that won't work for my set-up. If you can get it to show correctly, I will be purchasing one, and I am sure there are plenty more that are waiting for resolution on this (resolution issue).
Yep I want one but am waiting till it is all sorted.
^^^^ same here, I've started this thread, im checking back everyday to see what's up.
Is there any plan to get any other controll board option to the LCD screen that would handle DVI input and remote switch to composite one for back camera?
It would be happy to pay 20 dollar more for this functionality.
One other question. I have today a linitx 7" screen, would it be possible to swap my linitx screen towards the samsung one and reuse the controller board?
Is it allways the same standard for all 7" screens or is it different standards on different screens?
