Make it 180mm wide x 100mm height x 30mm thick and it will be the nicest 7" around - about the size of my 7" Alpine m780 screen, which is incredibly small compared to bricks like the Xenarcs are around 187x120mm high, lilliputs up to 195 wide x 120mm mo-co-so are also big but only 30mm thick. Edit: mo-co-so mini touches are only 25mm thick, but still long and tall (181x120) like the others. Alpines have practically no bezels...that's what you should spring for, best of luck!

Hey, question for you LCD guru's. Since I am thinking about putting 2 of these in my Sunvisors, I already have power going to the visors because they both have the lighted vanity mirrors but that pulls very little power, do you think those could power these screens? The specs says they only pulls between 1.2 and 2 watts which seems very low so I am thinking I might be OK but anyone with more experience in this area I'd love to hear from you.
Wondering if there's any chance the manufacturer would trade previous buyers of this panel boards so we could get the new ones (I specifically want the hdmi input, native res would be nice too )
tft_lcd_org: This setup is great, I'm planning to do the same once the guys come out with the new display board, HDMI and native resolution. (My Lilliput is useless due to it's native resolution problem.) Hell, I might actually buy two, one for my Canon camera as well
I just got an update from the manufacture that there is a delay to expect. Due to a design flaw with the board wiring...they have a revise version coming out soon. I will keep posting here if I here anything. Sorry for waiting and wish everybody a wonderful weekend
Do you have an estimated time frame on the new boards? And can someone else comment on my post #205?
You sure about 2W? I'd think it would be more like 10W? In any case, check the FAQ: http://www.mp3car.com/lcd-display/48...d-monitor.html
