Probably wait until it's finalised in case some thing changes..
Are going to build an in-dash or external case?

Also, is there a way to turn off all on-screen display (like the menus, text that says "VGA" and so on). Would be nice if there were a jumper onboard to do this.
What I'm thinking I'll do is make a mold of my existing radio with fiberglass, cut the space out needed for the panel. If I do it that way it will on fit my scion because the radio is an over-sized double din. Now I do have some of the older toyota double did radios in my closet. I could make a mold from them and that would mean I'd have to use the double din mounting kit for car but it would fit more double din vehicles.

it would be amazing if i could connect this screen straight to the motherboard
Thanks in advance
Never knew what that LVDS business was till I looked it up.
That sounds really neat. The motherboard I wanted doesn't come with it but I would almost be tempted to switch if it worked as it should..
You would have to run any cameras through your pc but I was planning on that anyway..

Regarding camera's, I am planning to add a USB reverse view camera to the PC and let centrafuse manage it.
Derrick sold these screens with LVDS control board before (just managed to find on ebay) but the item is not avaliable now.
Have emailed Derrick to check if he still got them, hoping he would be able to source some :-)
Was imaging not needing the board at all :(
But it does seem like a better solution.
Would also save having a bulky connector in my dash..
maybe its possible if we can find the right connector for the motherboard.
I am still waiting for Derrick's response, will see how it goes..
