That controller board looks freaking AMAZING! So tiny, and full of IC, no old style components. Best I've seen in ages. Would love to see what else such a board could control.
Good stuff. Thanks for all the updates.
I was refering to the capacitive touch kit I sell and providing the USB integration parts and instructions for those that want to keep the single board setup and use the USB connector that is shown on the new LCD board.
I will still order the LCD and install the cap. panel, for those that want me to, but I can't do them for free any more. They do take some time to do right.
Ahahhh it all makes sense now! Sorry I did misunderstand initially
Yeah well that was the impression I was under that buying a kit of ebay wasn't worth it. I think I will have to live with resistive, it's probably either that or no car computer the way I am going atm
Might be my best option Not that I would trsut myself I am sure I can find one of the many ways to screw it up
How brilliant! Just the perfect timing for me- about to embark on my first carPC project!
In fact, I'd like to use the screens for a few applications: "custom stereoscopic camera enclosure", "carPC", "desktop secondary touchscreen" (yep, im going to town with the ultra portables).
So count me in for 3 purchases (for me, resistive is fine).
with the Bezel enclosure as shown in the previous page- how does on connect to the PC for touchscreen?
And are there drivers for ubuntu??
Ps. I really like the look of the bezel! The monospaced type on the buttons gives it a good techy, quite geeky (in a good way) look!
Nice work, I can't wait until they're available!!!
The new case design may be a problem for those wanting to mold it into something the way the bottom buttons are.

Why is the picture cut off on the bottom? (by a few pixels, but cut off nonetheless)
