Do you have any time frame for the release or any idea on the price? I have everything for my project except the monitor.

Do you think he may be talking about the white wire in this pic? (bottom right)

I've had this display sitting on my desk for a little while now. What have people been doing for bezels? I'd like to get something that fits the screen boarder and from there i can do the rest.

It looks like the lilliput eby701 shell fits. You'll need to wait for tft to chime in.

Yes, the 701 bezel works well. The factory LCD hold downs will reach. But keep in mind that the 701's buttons are on the side of the screen creating an offset that some may find undesirable for fab work.

I'm definitely interested in one of these monitors. Is there an ETA for the HDMI version?

It's better to speak with the vendor through his ebay account - he replies in a timely manner.

A question for those who already have this board, and are presumably more savvy with electronics than I: my car has a 12v "illumination" cable which I can only assume is used to control the brightness of the LCD (through the dimmer in my car.) Is there a straight forward way I could control dimming the LEDs using this 'indicator' or would I have to jump through hoops? I am decent with the soldering iron, but couldn't debug/breakdown a control board if my life depended on it.

    Hi guys,
It looks like these LCDs are ideal for me needs. I want to make art project and it involes many LCD monitors. I need to buy 10 of them and want them to be as cheap as possible.

My question is, does this screen downscale high resolution input? I'm not using computer but DSLR camera via its HDMI output (then convert it to VGA by 30$ converter which works well) and I can't change output resolution, it's fixed at 1920x1080.

BTW. Sorry for my not the best English.
