Is the Double DIN frame the ByByte one? Or is it new?

If it is a new frame, please mention the outer dimensions so that I can check whether it will fit into my 2DIN slot opening. The Bybyte frame didn't fit though...

Bybyte frame for now, but I am exploring other options as well.

I will know more once I figure out if the hdmi board is going to work w/the bybyte frame.

So there is a $100 deference between "Capacitive Multi Touch" and "Resistive". I'm not sure it's worth that much to me. What are you guys thinking? Is it worth the extra for the Capacitive on a carputer?

On an iPad I can see the need, but I'm just picking radio stations, changing volume or hitting similar buttons in my car.

My old Lilliput has the hazy touch screen overlay on it, does the Capacitive screen look crisper?

Capacitive screens are usually glass so it should look clearer. TFT LCD do you know when you're going to try to fit it on the bybyte frame?

The capacitive panel has no such haze. Further, there is no blockage of back-light like there is with the poor quality resistive panels.

Take a look at the additional pictures shown (More Images Tab) within the capacitive 669 displays and you will see side by side comparisons of resistive vs capacitive.
Different monitors, but the same results apply.

tft_lcd_org- My current PC doesn't have HDMI, but I'd like to upgrade within the next year. It looks like your capacitive/hdmi model still accepts standard VGA (has the header on the board a least), but can you confirm please?
