can you update us on how it is going putting these screens on double din bybyte case with capacitive touch?
Some design ideas...

Maybe the opening for the panel could be sloped on the sides as well.
Also, if you could in-fill the engraving of the buttons with white , it would make it much easier to read it.
Maybe not such big of a crime to "steal" some design clues from other manufacturers, personally I really love how the Xenarc displays look like.
How about the stand? I trust there will be at least dash/windscreen mount version?
Interested in this as well...

Think about ipad or iphone4 glossy panel.
Add 3 multi point touch capacitive touch panel with capacitive buttons under it.
And you have high end product.
The drawings you put here seems good but similar to others. It can be a bit pricey but your product will definitely break apart from other LCD screens.
Looks great! Based on what I'm seeing, it looks like you can hide the OSD by setting the timeout? I see the "Blue screen" option. I assume that hides the OSD when the screen is turning on and has no input?
Let us know so we can all pre-order :)
Looks nice but glossy is absolutely not good for automotive use! Also, I would keep the cost low, if you want to burn $3-400 on a monitor, you have other options. I'd keep this one cheap but very competitive spec wise.

I like that one the best, I agree glossy is not the best finish inside of a car and would much rather have a matte finish (even though I will be throwing away any housing it comes with because I wont be using it). Right now im just waiting to hear what channels refers to on making the OSD invisible.

Hey guys, It's been a while since I don't post but here are my firs impressions on the eBay 7" led form eBay...
-Item arrived promptly and well packed via Fedex.
-Easy to connect and I think will be easy to install in my setup since the lack of bezel.
-Transflective??? I don't think so... It looks better than my old cheapo eBay one that is 5 years old now, but about the same when it was new...
-Price... tough to beat specially if you need the space.
I'll keep you updated.
I think the buttons need to be moved away from the bottom edge, its going to be a problem for those wanting to mold it in.
