if you don't have the time to read, or even search, the thread, then we don't have the time to repeat ourselves. that doesn't make sense, does it?

but to me, it's not a big deal haha

there have been a few comments on it not being so bulletproof in seeing in the sun. it's not truly transflective but rather, I think, transmissive. One guy (2-3 pages back) wrote a review and said that it's much better than a lilliput screen but he still had to squint in while driving.

You almost right. Since the HDMI board looks good, so no plan for 3rd generation yet

Now we are on 2nd generation (HDMI baord). All modification were base on firmware and done already.

This Monday we got another 133pcs. So all orders can be fulfill and ship right away. No need to do pre-order.

regarding to the capacitive touch function. Since tft_lcd_org already has a solution, plus the resistive version with better Cost Efficiency, good enough for most circumstances. so it is not our priority now. We may not have the capacitive version unless we find out a way to make it inexpensive

This screen is a sunlight grade screen, but not those super bright, expensive 1000 Nits screen

Like most GPS unit, it is readable under sunlight. but you still need a small shade or change angle if under strong directly sunlight.

if there is anything else we can help, please feel free to contact us at anytime. have a nice day!

another update. The case will have VESA Mount support. Also, remote is considering cancel in the case project, since the screen is only 7" and should be able to touch the button with hand

I will now offer free shipping to US addresses (no freight forwarding companies).

Also, if you PM me before purchasing a panel I will give you a 1 time use discount code for an additional 8.99 in savings.

That makes the PCT 91.00 landed. Add the 10.00 mp3car discount Derrick is giving and the extra 6.00 he is refunding if you buy the display without resistive touch makes your total purchase price 250.00 landed.
A great price for this display with Capacitive Multi Touch!

That is disappointing- I want a completely built in look (so no buttons will be visible). Hiding the IR receiver sensor in an air vent and using the remote was what how I was going to control the screen when needed.
I guess I'll have to move the buttons to a hidden panel someplace.

Do you have a reverse input so it will auto-switch to the video input when the reverse lights come on? I can't find it on the VGA version.
